Trust is hard to build and easy to break.
When we find ourselves navigating broken trust in our relationships and teams, what matters most is what we do next.
True trust repair requires both acknowledgment and action. It's about recognizing the dissonance between intent and impact, and then committing to get through it together. While avoidance might feel safer in the short term, it only deepens the fracture.
What I've seen time and again is clear: Leaders who build teams on trust consistently outperform. Engagement naturally soars when teams are in alignment with their values, take risks, listen deeply to others, and repair relationships when needed.
The strongest teams I've worked with actively practice trust repair. They see it as an opportunity to build shared values rather than point fingers.
