Lately, I’ve been having a lot of conversations that circle around one big question: When will companies start prioritizing professional development again?
I don’t have a crystal ball. But here’s what I do know:
The shift will happen when organizations really feel the impact of not investing in their people that is actively hurting engagement, collaboration, and morale.
Here’s what I’m seeing:
The companies that stayed committed to development, even during tough times, are now seeing better results, whether or not it includes AI.
Why? Because their people are energized, invested, and feel valued. Because people showed up for them and believed in them. They’re not just being asked to produce. They’re being supported to grow.
