What do you need in your toolbox?

Six days into 2025, and so much talk about resolutions, goals and intentions. What if we think of goals as TOOLS instead of using goals as measures of success (and often, ultimately, failure)?

We humans have the power of allowing our humanness - or imperfection, to motivate us. This power allows us to adapt and ensure we're using the right tools for our success.

Consider reframing resolutions as the tools we’re leveraging:

🔧 Rather than "I will get promoted," try "I'm developing leadership skills that create value."
🔧 Rather than "I will learn a new language," shift to "I will expand my ability to connect with more people."
🔧 Rather than "I will exercise 5 days every week," think "I am going to make decisions that reflect how I want to feel."

Try it on: A goal is not a destination. A goal is a tool.

When we stop measuring success by goal completion and start embracing why we make these declarations - that's when we grow.

May your 2025 toolbox be filled with tools that honor you.
