We can’t hit pause for politics

It's an election year, and we're all feeling it. The job market is shifting, and for those of us doing the work of diversity, equity & inclusion, big questions about organizational commitment loom large.

Yes, the stakes are high - and extremely consequential for inclusion and belonging. But let's remember: this isn't an exception. Elections happen every four years. We've been here before.

What if organizations stayed true to their commitments to leading with inclusion, trust, and belonging, regardless of the political climate? What if we didn't hit pause as we approach an election?

In my conversations with CEOs, CHROs, and CDOs, I'm hearing how market fluctuations and political uncertainty are derailing big goals. And EVERYONE is feeling it. It’s shaking up companies’ biggest values like psychological safety and trust.

But what if we just kept moving forward?
Imagine the progress we could make if our commitment to inclusion, trust and belonging was unwavering, election year or not. What if we make THAT the rule?

If you don’t have a strategic partner to discuss your goals, let’s talk!
