the echo chamber of now

Unprecedented news is coming at us faster than ever, and it affects our perspectives and actions. It affects how we see others and how others see us. Everyone is looking for guidance – from ourselves, from leaders, our trusted circle. There's no historical guidebook for navigating news at this speed OR the way we respond to it; we are collectively writing it.
How do we equip ourselves to serve relationships effectively? We have to remember that our response - whether in words, tone or action, is what others feel.

What if we ask ourselves: Am I listening? Am I honoring those around me with my response? When we talk about inclusion, we must remember that even in the most challenging times, the best thing that we can do is listen.
